Scope of Work:
T·H·R was commissioned to recreate the Prow sculpture at the apex of the once tallest building in the world.  The original Prow had been removed and discarded years before, requiring T·H·R to sculpturally create, from drawings and historic photos, a 100% full-scale model of the Prow assembly, prior to making molds.  After Landmarks’ approval of the sculpture model, T·H·R fabricated the Prow assembly in cast stone and GFRC to match the original terra cotta in time for the 100th anniversary of the opening of the building.
